had a really great time at green view guest house! graeme was super friendly and he knows so much about silloth's history. the breakfast was defo a highlight, with tasty local sausages and fresh coffee. my twin room was not only clean but also super comfy. loved the artsy vibe in shared areas, made it feel nicer than a typical hotel.
but the wifi was a bit spotty sometimes and it took a while for hot water in the shower.

Beautiful sea view room.
Our experience was utterly appalling. the proprietor's behavior was shockingly unprofessional. We were accused of stealing drinks that we intended to pay for, and instead of addressing the issue calmly, he raised his voice and insisted we leave immediately. To add insult to injury, he overcharged us for the drinks we had, which felt like blatant exploitation. we were supposed to enjoy breakfast, but we received none, leaving us frustrated and hungry. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and our stay was ruined.

It was just a suitable option for a passing visit in Silloth with fantastic value for money. The hospitality was fabulous, especially with tea available anytime. Consider bringing extra layers if you’re sensitive to heat.

Clean rooms with comfy beds provide a decent night's sleep. Scenic views overlooking the green and the sea add charm to the stay.
Shower system needs an upgrade. the toggle between the rain and standard heads was broken, which can be frustrating. Bike storage is available, but a single wheel stand isn’t the most secure option for serious cyclists. Pillows left something to be desired, feeling too flat for a solid sleep, and the lack of a flat top sheet for hot sleepers might be an inconvenience.

Amazing hosts and stunning views
The owners were super friendly and made my stay special. The sea views were breathtaking, especially at sunset! Breakfast was a feast—I couldn't finish it, and they even made me a packed lunch for my trip back. The dining area was cozy, but the bathroom could use a little upgrade.
